Data Collected
- If you purchase a licence: your email (to receive the key), and depending on the payment method chosen, the information required for that payment - processed by the relevant payment provider, never seen by us in the clear for card payments. - A technical identifier for your device, used only to enforce the free usage limit and activate your licence on your devices. It cannot identify you personally, and never leaves your device in a readable form.
- Anonymous monthly usage counters (number of active machines, with or without a licence) - no personal data attached.

Terms of Use
Purpose
Electric 4K Download is a local tool designed to fetch a copy of your own videos, or of videos you are authorized to download, hosted on third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook...). You remain solely responsible for complying with the terms of use of these platforms and the copyright rules applicable to the content you download.
Usage Licence
Purchasing a licence key is a one-time, lifetime purchase for personal use - redistributing or reselling a key is not permitted. The free trial is subject to a download limit per 24 hours and does not allow downloading whole playlists; these limits may change.
Payment
The license key costs 9.99€ (as shown on the Premium pricing card on the website and in the app), but the amount may vary depending on the payment method you choose. If you pay via Paysafecard, PCS, or Transcash, the license key will cost 10€. Note that if you pay "9.99€ + X€" (X being any amount), 9.99€ + X€ will be considered the cost of your license key: you will not be able to file any claim, and nothing will be refunded. The license key costs 9.99€, but you may choose to pay more for it.
Refunds
No automatic refund is offered once the key has been activated. An exceptional situation may be reviewed case by case by writing to support@electric-download.com, with no guarantee of a favourable outcome.
Warranty
The software is provided as-is, with no guarantee of continuous operation - its operation depends on third-party platforms that may change their protections at any time.
Revocation
A licence key may be revoked in the event of clearly fraudulent use (for example, massive sharing of the same key).
